  <dc:description>Larmor's letter of 13 January arrived and they are glad that his arrangements are more definite, and that he will have more time. He will meet Larmor's steamer and make arrangements for temporary lodgings. It would be a favour to Columbia if Larmor could look over the promising young men in mathematical physics at Cambridge, as they wish to recruit to staff next year. They would like to know more about [John Gaston] Leathem. Some of Larmors' students in America would like to have a dinner, but the date is difficult. He asks if Larmor if 1 or 5 April would be convenient.  </dc:description>
