Letter from J W [John William] Nicholson, 12 St. John's Street, Cambridge, to Sir Joseph Larmor He has been unable to find a suitable time to call upon Larmor. He is anxious to make his first appearance as a candidate for the Royal Society in the present session and seeks Larmor's advice on whether this would be premature or ill-advised. If Larmor thinks it reasonable, Nicholson would like a statement of the formalities involved, with instructions for the proper form of application, or perhaps Larmor might consent to propose him. He will act in accordance with Larmor's advice. There are several areas of his research about which he would like to consult Larmor, when he has the time to spare. 7 November 1910
