<dc:title>Letter from W D [William Davidson] Niven, Eastburn, Sidcup, to [Joseph] Larmor </dc:title>
<dc:description>He had intended to write after his second reading of [Thomas Henry] Havelock's paper, but will not refer to business as Larmor is so tired. Larmor's invitation to go the the Engadine is tempting but he cannot leave home as a servant is laid up in Moorfields Hospital, and he could not leave Agnes by herself. She may send for a niece from Aberdeen; the servants usually go away when Niven does. His brother has been pressing him to go fishing. He thinks that a rest in Cambridge will be the best cure for Larmor and the Engadine might be physically tiring. He has hopes of seeing Larmor at Sidcup.</dc:description>
