Letter from E A [Edward Arthur] Milne, 19 Northmoor Road, Oxford, to [Joseph] Larmor Milne has just bought a second hand copy of the 1900 edition of 'Aether and Matter', with a compliments slip from Larmor inserted. He asks Larmor to write two or three lines about the book for Milne to paste into this copy. He asks if [William] Whewell did something to explain the tides in the North Sea. Milne has an article in 'Nature' which will explain nebula recession 'without the absurdity'. 15 June 1932
