<dc:title>Letter from E [Ernest] Rutherford, 17 Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester, to [Joseph] Larmor </dc:title>
<dc:description>He thinks that they were at cross purposes regarding the Radiology Congress. The Congress was not officially under the patronage of the Academy, but that they were recommending some members through the French Government on an international committee. Sir Edward Grey has sent a letter saying that they are looking into a question from the Belgian Minister. Rutherford hopes that the Royal Society would recommend people for a committee and he would be glad to take up Larmor's offer regarding Royal Society apppointments. He does not wish to worry Larmor or the Society but feels that something should be done. He is sorry not to be able to hear Larmor's Bakerian Lecture.</dc:description>
