<dc:title>Letter from E [Ernest] Rutherford, to [Joseph] Larmor </dc:title>
<dc:description>He is glad that Larmor is inclined to help on the question of representation. Rutherford would like himself, Larmor, Strutt and J.J. Thomson on the committee if possible, noting the disciplines represented by each. It will be unconnected with the Royal Society so he would be free to act. Rutherford thinks that the Congress will be of considerable importance, tackling the question of terminology and standards. He would be sorry to see the country taking a back seat. </dc:description>
