Letter from Margaret J M [Johnstone Marshall] Ramsay, Beechcroft, Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire, to Sir Joseph [Larmor] Larmor's letter gave her husband [Sir William Ramsay] much pleasure. She comments on the work he has done, his interest in his students' careers, and his recall upon being asked for advice, when he is consulted. Ramsay is very ill, but is patient and courageous, despite the sore trial after having so little illness in his life. 19 March 1916
