<dc:title>Letter from W [William] Ramsay, 12 Arundel Gardens, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>Nothing has been done on the magnetic properties of argon or helium. Rayleigh has measured refractivities, publishing in the Proceedings. He thinks there may be a connection between the low refactivity of helium and its 'extraordinary behaviour' towards the electric current. Rose Innes has made the same calculations as Larmor on the value of p.v., and he may publish soon. He has also got a new equation which seem 'very ingenious'. </dc:description>
