<dc:title>Letter from William Ramsay, Beechcroft, Hazlemere, High Wycombe, to [Joseph] Larmor</dc:title>
<dc:description>He gives thanks for a sympathetic letter. Ramsay cannot look forward to more than a month or two, but he asks Larmor not to make this public. There is a chance, but it will be along drawn out struggle. His main organs are quite normal, but 'this infernal gangrene is inundating me with pus'. He has been getting his financial affairs clear and is not in great pain, thanks to a morphia preparation. </dc:description>
