Letter from William Huggins, Upper Tulse Hill, to [Arthur] Schuster Schuster may have heard Huggins's reasons for asking about the corona as he has found a method of photographing the corona without an eclipse. The plates were taken between June and September. [William de Wiveleslie] Abney has seen them and they show that some of the large rays from 17 May were still there as late as September. He will send a paper when he can get copies and asks Schuster to tell [Henry Enfield] Roscoe. 2 December 1882
