Informs that the Royal Society accepts with great willingness the charge of the expedition under the conditions mentioned in a letter of the secretary, and that they have appointed a committee (which included Sir George Richard, R H Scott, professor Stoke) to take special charge of the details of the expedition. Informs that the treasurer of the Royal Society 'will in due time make application for the same granted'. </dc:description>
