<dc:title>Letter from Warner Oben, Tregoney [Tregony], Cornwall, to [Martin Folkes]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Having learned that his previous letter and enclosed papers did not reach Folkes [see MS/790/131], Oben sends this letter to notify Folkes that the papers will be deliverd by Oben's agent Mr Richard Maddock. Oben's former clerk, Mr John Thomson, was to deliver the letters but lately left London for Cambridge where he has been taken ill with smallpox. The verso side of the letter contains notations of basic numerical calculations. A small remnant of an address page is attached. </dc:description>
