<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Hill, Whitehall, to Martin Folkes</dc:title>
<dc:description>Hill conveys a request from the Duke of Richmond that Folkes go to the Duke of Ancaster's auction and buy him some of the stones and marbles with inscriptions. The Duke wishes to stick them in an interior wall he is building, as decoration. He is also interested in antique urns and asks Folkes to bid on any at his discretion. Hill himself is 'tied by the leg every morning at the office' and the Duke does not know who else to send.
