<dc:title>Letter, from [Giulio Carlo, Count Fagnano] de Fagnani to [Brook Taylor], dated at Sinigaglia [Senigallia, Italy]</dc:title>
<dc:description>Apologises for reaching out without being introduced. Has heard of Taylor's work on fluxion.
Proposes his solutions to two problems of integral calculus to all English mathematicians. Sends a list of his publications in Italian journals to add his contribution to the controversy with the Bernoulli family, to which he was introduced by [Nicolas] Bernoulli Professor of mathematics in Padua. Praises calculus and infinitesimals as a glorious contribution of England to mathematics. Asks for his work to be shown to the Royal Society.
Asks if Taylor can reply in either Latin or French.</dc:description>
