  <dc:description> ' I now enclose a certificate of candidates for election in favour of T S Moore.  I hope it is in order. I promised Professor Duncan [?] that I would forward the certificate for him.

I had hoped to have a word wioth you from yesterday about the AAC.  Mr Adams [?] is now full - time General Secretary, although he does not begin to draw his salary until September 1st.  Mr Gent will take instructions from Mr Adams.  Mr Adams is a very good fellow and I hope the new arrangement will not only be  great for the work of the AAC  but prove to be a great improvement from all points of view. 

I'm off to Tuscany on business to-night and I hope to be back on Sunday.

I trust you are going to have a good holiday/

PS.  I hope to see eithee Mr Adams or Propfessor  Singer to-night before I leave.  I want Mr Adams to inform you concerning his proposed arrangments re holidays. '</dc:description>
