  <dc:description>The discussion meeting 'The Moon - A new appraisal from space missions and laboratory analysis' was held by the Royal Society's National Committee on Space Research 9 - 12 June 1975 at Carlton House Terrace. Papers include handwritten notes by Colin Pillinger for a talk on 11 June 1975 on the chemistry of carbon in the lunar regolith, and a hand drawn and coloured diagram, untitled, appearing to show the lunar carbon cycle and a summary of the processes contributing carbon to lunar material. Programme, ephemera and abstracts of the papers presented.
