<dc:title>Letter from W H [William Hyde] Wollaston, Buckingham Street, Fitzroy Square, to 'My dear Captn' [Henry Kater]</dc:title>
<dc:description>He gives thanks for Kater's acceptable letter, reporting that he has confounded Kater many times for not sending news of his progress. He writes on two points: Kater's pendulum experiments at Arbury and on the Board of Longitude. He thinks that the Arbury experiments should not be omitted, however little information they may give. Wollaston think Kater could hardly do otherwise than come to London on his way to Dunnose, but he would have to return almost at once since the Board meets on 5 November. </dc:description>
