Copy letter from John Evans, to Messrs Robarts & Company Evans asks that £1200 Metropolitan three and a half percent consols are purchased for the Royal Society and charged to the Fee Reduction Fund. There are already £2800 of the stock belonging to the fund. The transfer of 'Dwd' wrongly placed to the credit of that fund does not year appear in the pass books. 29 October 1886
