<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Warren de la Rue, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rue asked Rix to keep an eye on the account of Rue's grant so that a certain amount might be reserved to pay Mr Marth for superintendence. Rix therefore writes to say there is now about £46-10-0 left.

As far as he knows there is nothing more due to Marth. Mr Sasser[?] was paid by piece work with the last payment being 19 May. Since then however Sasser has done a great deal of work for which no arrangement was made and for which he has not been paid, amounting to a fortnight of six to seven hours per day. Rix asks to know Rue's wishes regarding this.</dc:description>
