  <dc:description>The plates came directly to hand and Rix is having them rectified. The Royal Society thought Bottomley was a little hypercritical in some of the corrections though the engravers were certainly to blame for others. Rix is very sorry to hear of Bottomley's bereavement.</dc:description>
