Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, American Philosophical Society, Philadelphia With reference to an application some time since for a grant of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers', the publication is now in the hands of H M Government and is no longer issued from the Royal Society office. H M Government have however acceded to the request and the eight volumes of the publication will be sent through the Smithsonian Institution tomorrow. 16 February 1886
