<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Pole, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix has read Pole's letter to the Secretary of the Royal Society. As Rix was appointed to draw up the report on the Leibnitz-Newton manuscript he can perhaps answer Pole's question. Rix encloses a copy of the minute of council for 4 November 1880 which explains Dr Siemen's connection with the matter, and a minute of the Newton-Leibnitz manuscript Committee which was communicated to Council and approved 30 November 1880 [neither item attached]. Rix wonders if Pole would like a copy of the report.</dc:description>
