Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr William Pole, Fellow of the Royal Society Rix has read Pole's letter to the Secretary of the Royal Society. As Rix was appointed to draw up the report on the Leibnitz-Newton manuscript he can perhaps answer Pole's question. Rix encloses a copy of the minute of council for 4 November 1880 which explains Dr Siemen's connection with the matter, and a minute of the Newton-Leibnitz manuscript Committee which was communicated to Council and approved 30 November 1880 [neither item attached]. Rix wonders if Pole would like a copy of the report. 17 November 1887
