Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to J Elfreth Watkins, Curator, Department of Industrial Arts, Field Columbian Musuem, Chicago Rix fears they have kept Watkins waiting rather long for an answer but he has only just been able to obtain from Messrs Collings & Company, an estimate for photographing the Savery Engine the same size as the original drawing. The price of the negative and two silver prints would be 27/6. If Watkins wishes it done he could write direct to Messrs Collings or to the Society. 13 November 1894
