Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Messrs W H & C Spottiswoode The marble bust of the Spottiswoode's father William, and the Society's late President, which they so generously presented to the Society was placed in the ante-room on the day of the Anniversary, where it was seen with interest by a great number of Fellows. The gift was reported at the last Council meeting and the best thanks of the Council were unanimously agreed. 12 December 1894
