<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Victor Alexander Haden Horsley</dc:title>
<dc:description>Nearly three weeks ago Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] informed Horsley that his and Kramer's paper was voted for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', and sent Horlsey a copy of suggestions made by one of the referees. The Society has been waiting to hear whether Horsley accedes to these suggestions and whether they are to send Horsley the manuscript so that they may be carried out before printing, as Lord Rayleigh recommended in his letter.

The printers are free to go on with the work if Horsley could revise the manuscript shortly. </dc:description>
