In answer to Harris' letter of yesterday, William Paterson's name disappeared from the list of Fellows in 1810. Provides a quotation from Poggendorff's 'Handworterbuch', which show that he was the New South Wales Paterson. It is certain PAterson was in England on 17th May the week after his election, as on that day he was admitted to the Society. 21 December 1894
