Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Thomas Lauder Brunton, Fellow of the Royal Society The printers appear to keep their blocks in parcels of one year each and when they select a block they do so by comparing it with the printed impression. In the case of Brunton and [T Jessopp] Bokenham the Society has no impression to compare the blocks with, and the printers have therefore been unable to identify the blocks Brunton wants. If Brunton has a drawing of any of the figures in question or could give a description of any of them this would help the printers identify the correct blocks. Apologises that Brunton has this additional trouble in consequence of an old error of the Society's. 12 January 1895
