<dc:title>Copy letter from Lord Rayleigh, John William Strutt, to Mr Charles Chree</dc:title>
<dc:description>Strutt brought Chree's letter before the Committee of Papers. It is contrary to the ordinary practice of the Society to allows manuscripts to go out but under the circumstances it was decided to give permission in this case, it being understood Chree would of course return the manuscript in its original form. No objection was made as to the other point.</dc:description>
