Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr David Sharp, Fellow of the Royal Society The enclosed letter was written to Sharp before the one enclosing the cheque, but unfortunately miscarried and has been returned to Rix. Rix thinks Sharp ought to have it as it is the official statement of the purpose of the Grant and Rix has received Sharp's note acknowledging safe transmission of the cheque. 13 February 1895
