Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Dr John Murray, 38 Palmerston Place, Edinburgh Murray's letter of the 4 March was yesterday laid before the President and Council and Murray is directed to reply that the Society has received no interest for the money in question, it never having been invested but retained in the Society's floating balance in readiness to be paid to Murray when he demanded it. 15 March 1895
