Copy letter from an unknown correspondent, to the Direct Photo-Engraving Company, 38 Farringdon Street, E.C. The correspondent notes the important thing is to show as many lines as possible in the spectrum [presumably for Professor Joseph Norman Lockyer's paper]. If the reduction to the width of the page would not obscure some of the faint lines it would in many respects be better but the correspondent is inclined to think that the larger scale would be safer in this respect, and that the block had better go length ways. The correspondent is willing however to leave this to the Company's judgement. 15 May 1895
