<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Colonel Charles Swinhoe, Avenue House, Cowley Road, Oxford</dc:title>
<dc:description>With reference to Swinhoe's application for the return of the plates illustrating his paper, which was read at the Society in 1893, Rix is directed to explain that these are neatly mounted and bound in vellum together with the manuscript of the original paper, and as the removal of the plates will spoil the volume, it will be necessary to lay the matter before the Council before acceding to the request. Rix supposes it is of importance that Swinhoe should have these returned. </dc:description>
