<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Fellow of the Royal Society, 23 Gilbert Street, Brook Street, W.</dc:title>
<dc:description>The inclosed note has been sent to Rix by Dr [Michael] Foster to forward to Kempe with a portion of Dr [Frederick William] Pavy's letter to the Council. Foster forgets that he took Pavy's letter with him to Cambridge. Rix thinks it better to send Kempe on Foster's note at once together with a copy of the Society's statutes, and, as soon as Rix can recover Pavy's letter, will send the extract to which Foster refers.</dc:description>
