<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>he Committee voted Risien Russell's paper but the illustrations were not to cost more than £8. Professor [John Scott Burdon-]Sanderson thought that one photographic plate and some pen and ink drawings might be done for this figure and Risien Russell has cut down his plates to one and has had drawings substituted as recommended. The estimate for the plate however by the Direct Photo-Engraving Company, which is the cheapest, is £7-10-0, and the drawings £4-17-6. Asks to know how to proceed.</dc:description>
