<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, 15 Lombard Street, E.C.</dc:title>
<dc:description>Rix does not seem to have had any answer to his letter of the 18 July asking for an explanation for two items in the pass-book. To these existing queries Rix adds an entry for four shillings received on 3 July. The Messrs have also entered £50 Joule Memorial Fund in the General Account pass-book, forgetting that this has a separate pass-book.

As a postscript Rix notes he has solved one of the queries which appears to have been a mistake of Herries & Company. He thinks it a pity the Messrs do not give fuller particulars in the pass-book.</dc:description>
