Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society James is directed to remind Lankester that the Society has not received Lankester's statement of claim for a Royal Medal on behalf of Dr John Murray. Lankester is also the proposer of Professor [William] Ramsay for the Davy Medal. Although the terms of Lankester's proposal are identical with those put forward by Mr Crookes as Professor Ramsay's claim to a Royal Medal, the Society must have a separate statement of claim for the Davy as well.
