Copy letter from Michael Foster, to George Francis Scott-Elliot, 15 Moore Street, Chelsea, S.W. Foster asks that there be no misunderstanding. What Foster wrote is that the Royal Society did not blame Scott-Elliot as regards the naming and description of his specimens, but Foster thinks that the President and Council will disapprove if Scott-Elliot's collection are not made available for the Tropical African Flora, and will probably take some steps to make their disapprobation know. 27 August 1895
