Acknowledge's receipt of Anderson's letter of yesterday with reference to the proposed Conference for discussing the project of an International Catalogue of Scientific Papers. The Society's Senior Secretary, Professor Michael Foster, being abroad, Rix has forwarded the letter to the Junior Secretary, Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], who will doubtless take steps to answer it at the earliest opportunity. 19 September 1895
