<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Du Barry & Company Limited, 77 Regent Street, W.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sirs,
I beg leave to call attention to your advertisement in the "Times" of Saturday December 14th. In that advertisement appears the name of "Dr A. B. Griffiths, F.R.S" I have to inform you that Dr Griffiths is not, and never has been, entitled to use the letters "F.R.S." [Fellow of the Royal Society] and I have to ask that you will take care that those letters are not affixed to his name in any future advertisement by your firm. I believe he is entitled to the letters "F.R.S.S." [Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society] which is a wholly different title.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
