<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Henry Clifton Sorby, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
The exhibitor of the "New Photography" last Thursday was Professor Silvanus P. [Phillips] Thompson, Principal of the City & Guilds Technical College, Finsbury. I daresay he can give you some specimens of it. Mr Swinton whose photos. you say you already have, is the only other man I know of who is likely to have successful examples to lend.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
