Copy letter from Michael Foster, to Monsieur le Colonel A Laussedat, Directeur du Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers, Paris Foster, in response to Laussedat's letter of 22 February, is directed to state that the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' published by the Royal Society, cannot be considered as a guide to the catalogue to be considered at the proposed conference. However, with a view to demonstrating how the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' is arranged, he has sent several loose sheets from a recent volume. He further states that it is published occasionally as portions are prepared rather than on an annual basis. 9 March 1896
