<dc:description>'Dear Sir,
At the request of the Chairman of the Sectional Committee for Physics and Chemistry, I am sending you by this post a paper by Dr Meyer Wildermann "Experimental Proof of Van't Hoff's Constant, Dalton's Law, &c., in very Dilute Solutions", with respect to which the Committee desire your opinion as to its suitability as to acceptance for reading and publication. Mr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook will write to you himself on the subject and, in the meantime, I am desired by the Secretaries to forward you the inclosed letter from Prof. [Professor] Fitzgerald (who communicates the paper) and to request you to return the letter to me with the paper when you have done with it.
I am, faithfully yours,
Robt Harrison
Asst. Sec. RS. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
