Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt], Secretary, Royal Society 'My Lord, Mr McAulay's paper on "Octonians" has no abstract, and there is little chance of getting one from the communicator (Dr Ferrers). Dr. [Michael] Foster is inclined to think that the paper had better be taken as read, but if you can suggest any way of getting an abstract in time for next Thursday you will doubtless let us know.
