Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Ambrose Fleming, Fellow of the Royal Society, University College, Gower Street, W.C. With reference to Fleming's letter to Lord Rayleigh [John William Strutt] of the 12th June, Harrison states that the Council at their last meeting decided to grant Fleming £50 from the Donation Find to assist him and Professor [James] Dewar in their researches on the diamagnetic qualities of metals at low temperatures.
