Copy letter from Theodore E James, to George Frederick Charles Searle There is no objection to Searle taking a copy of pages 68-92 in his paper 'Problems in Electric Convection' the first 67 pages of which are intended for the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. They are now sending Searle the manuscript together with the plates so that he can: recast page three as suggested by the referee; carry the concluding paragraph on page 92 to the end of page 67; and introduce into the plates any changes in numbering. Asks Searle to detach the part to be copied and return the remainder with plates at his earliest convenience. 13 August 1896
