<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to W H Finlay, Acting for Her Majesty's Astronomer, Royal Observatory, Cape of Good Hope</dc:title>
<dc:description>In answer to Finlay's letter of the 7th July, requesting the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' for 1891 and sundry numbers of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', the Society's books show that these parts were duly dispatched to the care of Admiralty. 'Philosophical Transactions' A was sent 5th August 1892.

It is open to Finlay to make formal application for them and the matter would come up for consideration at the next meeting of the Library Committee. </dc:description>
