<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Charles B Davenport, 11 Francis Avenue Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States of America</dc:title>
<dc:description>There will be no difficulty in Davenport reproducing the figures he needs from the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Formal leave of Council must be obtained but this may be anticipated and the matter put in hand at once.

The best course will be to allow the Society to instruct Messrs Harrison & Sons to make cliches of the blocks required. These will be sent to Macmillan with the account. Davenport should specify exactly what he wants and let them know of any further figures he may want as it is not the practice to give a general permission to copy them.</dc:description>
