<dc:title>Copy letter from Michael Foster, to the President of the Physical Society, Burlington House, W. </dc:title>
<dc:description>At the meeting of the Council of the Royal Society held last week, it was resolved that that Physical Society be added to the list of those institutions the Presidents of which may recommend cases for the consideration of the Scientific Relief Committee.

The printed circular enclosed herewith [not attached], which is sent annually to the President of Societies which are thus privileged, will perhaps sufficiently explain the meaning of this resolution, but if any further information is required as to the purposes of the Fund or mode of procedure, Harrison shall be happy to furnish it to the best of his ability.</dc:description>
