Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to F Howard Collins, Churchfield, Edgbaston, Birmingham Harrison notes that it is not necessary to repeat the process of recommendation for every book he wishes to consult, as the recommendation of a Fellow can be honoured throughout the session in which it is given. He further states that it is not usual to bring individual applications such as this before the Library Committee. It is outside the practice of the Royal Society to receive subscriptions for such privileges, except for those accorded to Fellows. 13 January 1897
