Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Fayrer, Fellow of the Royal Society The point has arisen, whether Surgeon-Major McConnell, whose certificate as a candidature is promoted by Fayrer, is deceased. The Society is inclined to think that the decease of Surgeon-Major Mouat, of Calcutta, has been mistaken as that of Mr McConnell. Asks for a line to make sure as the certificate is of course still suspended as that of a candidate. 24 March 1897
